The Insights On Demand Consortium

The Insights on Demand (IoD) Industry consortium is comprised of a diverse group of members from numerous industries and geographies, with the common mission to further evolve, refine, and promote new ways of insight creation and delivery. Our privacy Commitment to you

We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our site (our site) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.     • Any member of ITWP group of companies.
    • Selected third parties including:
    • Other members of the Insights on Demand Consortium for the purposes of the Insights on Demand programs; and
    • Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our site.
  • We will disclose your personal information to third parties:
    • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
    • If ITWP or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
    • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our IoD Consortium Rules [insert link] or website terms [insert link] and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ITWP, our IoD Consortium members, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection.

Where we store your personal data

  • EU-U.S. and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework: We, (including our USA based company Toluna USA Inc., (“Toluna USA”)) recognize that the EU and Switzerland have established strict protections regarding the handling of Personal Data from the EU and Switzerland, including requirements to provide adequate protection for such Personal Data transferred outside of the EU and Switzerland. To provide adequate protection for certain EU and Swiss Personal Data about individuals (including about you and our corporate clients, suppliers, business partners, job applicants and employees received in the USA, Toluna USA has elected to self-certify to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework administered by the US Department of Commerce (“Privacy Shield“). Toluna USA is responsible for the processing of personal information it receives, under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Toluna USA adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability. If there is any conflict between the terms of this Consumer Insights Program Privacy Policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.
  • For purposes of enforcing compliance with the Privacy Shield, Toluna USA is subject to the investigatory and enforcement authority of the US Federal Trade Commission.   • Binding Arbitration: You may have the option to select binding arbitration for the resolution of your complaint under certain circumstances, provided you have taken the following steps: (1) raised your compliant directly with Toluna USA and provided us the opportunity to resolve the issue; (2) made use of the independent dispute resolution mechanism identified under the Questions or Complaints paragraph; and (3) raised the issue through the relevant data protection authority and allowed the US Department of Commerce an opportunity to resolve the complaint at no cost to you.
